The Red Cross offers an advanced level of CPR for health care providers. This CPR HCP course involves all of the components covered in CPR levels “A”, “B”, and “C”. Candidates in this Red Cross course will learn more advanced CPR for adult, child and infant victims. Sign up for Red Cross CPR and first aid training in Surrey, British Columbia. Our training partners, located within Canada, offer CPR HCP training via the Canadian Red Cross. Providers are located in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, Regina, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Ottawa.
CPR HCP advanced training includes:
- Two person rescues using pulse checks.
- Use of a bag valve or pocket mask.
- Ventilation only CPR
- Optional: Oxygen therapy.
Length of Course:
The Length of the course is approximately 8 hours.
Candidates that successfully complete this course will receive a Red Cross CPR HCP with AED certification card that is valid for up to 3 years. This card is CPR only and will not certify candidates for first aid.
Cost of the Course:
The cost of the course is 60.00 dollars. Included in the cost of the course is the Red Cross certification fee, CPR manual and all applicable taxes.
