Childcare First Aid course
Childcare first aid is a first aid course that is taught only through St Mark James. This 8 to 10 hour course (for emergency childcare first aid) is usually taught within one day at teaches candidates the how to respond to emergency scenarios is a childcare or daycare setting. Many daycare workers and childcare workers are required to be certified with this course. Candidates enrolled in this course will receive a 3 year, St Mark James certification card that includes CPR level “B” and AED training. Length of Emergency and Standard Childcare First Aid courses:
The length of the course is 8 hours and is usually taught within one day. Some locations offer the course within 2 days at four hours a day. Standard childcare first aid courses are longer and include almost the same curriculum as emergency childcare first aid. Standard childcare first aid is a 18 to 20 hour course.
